things do not look good. waify's symptoms and an ultrasound test strongly suggest that she has cancer. we are waiting for the results of a cytology test to see exactly what type of cancer it is.
waify has lost a lot of weight. she drinks water every once in a while, but she has not eaten very much at all in the past several days. she's been very lethargic and tends to hide. I have been monitoring her very closely and try to comfort her as much as i can. i have prayed more in the past few days than i have in years.
waify is the sweetest, kindest, gentlest soul i've ever known. i wish this wasn't happening to her.
